Student Login Information

To access Blackboard, click the User Login button.

Accounts created before January 1, 2009

• Username: You will now login with your 9 digit Banner ID number. If you do not know your Banner ID number call the registrar's office at 252-335-3300 and select Option 1.
• Password: VIKING#### (#### represents the last 4 digits of your ss#).

Accounts created after January 1, 2009

• Username: Your 9 digit Banner ID number. If you do not know your Banner ID number call the registrar's office at 252-335-3300 and select Option 1.
• Password: Your Birth date: mmddyy
  If your birth date is January 1, 1989 you would enter 010189
• Students will be able to access courses on the first day of the semester if your account has been cleared.

• Student Blackboard Orientation: familiarize yourself with Blackboard, log in with Username: ecsu and Password: ecsu, click on the Student Blackboard Orientation link.
